A Visit to the Emerald Isle

Ireland has friendly people, scenic seascapes, ancient sites, great beer, and challenging hikes. ADK members Lenore and Jack Reber visited the Emerald Isle with Sierra Club in May of 2025. Dublin and Galway provided city experiences. Visits to Clonmacnoise, stone forts, abbeys and other sites told the story of Ireland’s history.

Hikes in Connemara were challenging over rocky terrain. Walks in the Burren, Innismor Island, and the Cliffs of Moher were filled with great views and points of interest. Join the Rebers as they share pictures and music from Ireland on the day after St. Patrick’s Day. No registration required.
