As outlined in our Business Reopening Safety Plan, because the Saratoga County 14-day average Covid-19 positivity rate has been higher than 8% for 10 consecutive days, the Library building will be closed to the public beginning Monday, January 11, 2021, and programs and services will be delivered remotely and virtually.

Consistent with our Business Reopening Safety Plan, because the Saratoga County 14-day average Covid-19 positivity rate has been higher than 8% for 10 consecutive days, the Library building will be closed to the public beginning Monday, January 11, 2021. At this time a reopening date is unknown. Programs and services will be delivered remotely and virtually during this period. The 14-day positivity rate has been 10% or greater since January 4.

Librarians will be available by phone, e-mail, and chat to answer questions from 9AM-6PM Monday-Thursday, and 9AM-5PM on Friday and Saturday. As always, digital materials will be available via the library’s website. Check the library’s online event calendar, or follow us on Facebook, for virtual program offerings during this period.

Library return drops will be open, however borrowers are encouraged to hold on to any items they have checked out until the building reopens. Most staff will be working remotely, so items that are checked out are likely to remain on library card accounts for an extended period.
