Narcan Training Day
Time: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Location: Library Building
Drop by the library between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. to learn how to recognize an opioid overdose and administer nasal Narcan. Training takes about 10 minutes and a free Narcan Rescue Kit is provided. Hosted by the Saratoga County Department of Health. No registration required.
Can’t make it? Narcan is available for FREE (no questions asked) in the library’s Read to Recovery collection.
Naloxone, sold under the brand name Narcan, is a safe medication that can save someone’s life by reversing the effects of an opioid overdose. Narcan is a nasal spray that can be easily administered with minimal training.
