Celebrate the birthday of famed abolitionist John Brown by attending this poetry reading in his honor. Poet, editor and local high school teacher Andy Fogle will read from his latest work: The Cutting Light, inspired by Brown’s activity in our region. Fogle will also present images from Jacob Lawrence’ Great Migration series of paintings, as well as , relevant archival photographs and maps.

Also reading their work, along with Fogle, will be local poets GRIPP and Bunkong Tuon.
