The Teen Room is a space tailored specifically for the use of youth in grades 7-12. With video consoles, movies and trivia, board games, card games, puzzles, crafts, and computers loaded with Office software and PC games to blow off some steam - among other amenities - it’s TEEN ONLY! The room can hold a maximum capacity of 35, offers a sink for clean-up from spills or other needs, and offers a fairly high tolerance for audio levels, unlike other areas of the library!
- A plethora of board and card games
- Video game consoles
- Comfortable, damage resistant furniture
- An area without volume control (within reason)
- An always on-hand librarian to help with homework
- PCs with both games and MS Office software for productivity
- High speed internet connectivity
Holidays and non-school days may have adjusted daytime hours.
Please note that the Teen Room may be used for library (non-teen specific) purposes outside of its normally scheduled open hours.
