Page Turner, the Library Horse

Page Turner Retired children's librarian Jim stands next to the magnificent art piece.

Our horse leaves The Arts Center and travels through town heading for its new home at the library...

Don't forget to look both ways!

Hey guys, why don't we stop for some ice cream?

The journey continues.....

Going up???

On second thought, I think I'll take the stairs.

Back away, Charlie, I can do this myself.

I'd better fill out an application for a library card!

Where is the librarian?

Horsey Kisses!

'Charlie Horse'

Are new horse shoes needed?

Shiny new shoes!

Say cheese!

Children at the Saratoga Arts Center decorated one of the horses from the "Horses-Saratoga Style" exhibit. The arts center generously offered to give the completed horse to the library. While awaiting its arrival we had asked children age 12 and under to help us select a name for our horse. We've since selected the winning name and now have a fully recognized horse for all to enjoy!

You can see Page Turner outside the library along the Henry Street entrance walkway during the warmer months of the year! Sadly, Page Turner needs to rest during the colder months, but he loves it outside when it's warm out!
