Under new CDC guidelines for the prevention of community transmission of Covid-19, masks are once again required of all people inside the library building.

On July 27, the CDC issued new guidelines for masking in order to help prevent the rapidly-increasing spread of Covid-19.  That guidance recommended that fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.  According to CDC metrics, Saratoga County has reached the substantial transmission threshold as of July 29.

Accordingly, effective July 30, 2021, masks are once again required of all people – staff, volunteers, and visitors, alike – in all public and shared areas inside the library building, regardless of vaccination status.

Masks are currently not required for those attending outdoor library programs.
