Skinny and Quick: Suggested Books for Next Day Reports Compiled by the staff of Mid-Continent Public Library, books are in three categories: thin, thinner, and thinnest! The books may be slim, but the picking here is not.
Outstanding Books for The College Bound Selected by a committee of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). The list is divided into five sections: fiction, biography, nonfiction, drama, and poetry. Authors and Literary Criticism

Twayne's Author Series Access to this site is provided by the New York State Library through LSTA funds. The site has full text critical interpretation and discussion of the works and chronology of 600 authors. The discussions of each author in the series are between 175-200 printed pages.
Online Literary Criticism Collection This Internet Public Library site contains over 4600 critical and biographical web sites about authors and their works that can be browsed by author, by title, or by nationality and literary period. Also includes links to other sources on the web.
SparkNotes A collection of online study guides on literature, as well as several other subjects. Study guides are written by self-proclaimed Harvard students and graduates who specialize in the subjects they cover.
